What is ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis is the study and analysis of human behavior and its environmental influences. ABA Therapists analyze the child’s natural environment and determine what factors can be causing social, language, and behavior challenges. ABA Therapists use a variety of techniques such as positive reinforcement and environment modification to teach new skills and increase productivity while reducing behaviors that prevent learning and development.
Behavior Plan
Our therapists work together to create a customized behavior care plan that corresponds to your child’s unique set of challenges and has attainable goals for your child to reach. BCBAs help formulate the plan while ABA Therapists implement it. As we get to know your child on a more personal level, we’ll continue updating the plan to fit his/her particular needs and progress. Our staff works alongside family members and educators to help them understand the goals of the care plan and how to implement the proper ABA methods to achieve optimal results. Integrating ABA Therapy practices into their curriculums at school allows for a fully inclusive and thorough ABA service.
